"A Cautionary Tail is an animated short film starring
Cate Blanchett, David Wenham and Barry Otto.
Directed by Simon Rippingale, the film is based on a children's story by writer Erica Harrison.
Through a collage of 3D animated characters and hand-made miniature sets, we follow the story of a girl born with a tail that expresses her emotions.
A dark, funny fable about learning to treasure the things that make us unique, the film is animated by world-class CGI artists and features an original score by Michael Yezerski, composer for the Academy Award-winning short, The Lost Thing."
