"World Entertainment War"?-)

My German blogging friend Foxi at Sync Netz (soccer nets?-) alerted me to this strange coincidence involving the current and former Pope's home countries, Argentina and Germany.
They will both face off in the World Cup final in Brazil this year!?

I purchased this album after reading Rob Brezsny's book PRONOIA
"Pronoia Is the Antidote for Paranoia, Revised and Expanded: How the Whole World Is Conspiring to Shower You with Blessings "
Kick ass!!

Interesting how lightning struck the Vatican when the German Pope announced his resignation of the Papacy and that lightning also stuck the statue of Christ the Redeemer earlier this year, breaking off a piece of the thumb.
Coincidence?

As stated in the previous posts linked here, Jonathan Pryce (the current Pope look-a-like) stars in the movie Brazil and the movie about Argentina's Eva, as her husband.
Let's not forget that Bob Hoskins, passed away this year also.
And Bob starred in a movie (The Good Pope: Pope John  XXIII) as a Pope, as well.

  1. A Pope face off - there's an interesting concept!

  2. I think the idea of a shoot-out in the case of a draw might have them running for the Pope-mobile though Mike .-)

  4. Off topic a bit but, that world cup image looks a lot like a "face-palm"

  5. I think you're right about the face-palm AA and I'm sure after Brazil's last two World Cup matches there would have been many Brazilians doing just that.
