Anomalisa/Steve Jobs

Lisa Nicole Brennan-Jobs
I saw the new Steve Jobs movie the day before I saw the movie Anomalisa and noticed that both movies centered around a girl named Lisa.
And in some interesting (you might say sinky/synchy, as in Titanic kind of sinky;-) trivia between the two movies, first Steve Jobs -
"David Fincher was originally attached to direct but was dropped from the film by Sony after his demands - a $10,000,000 salary and full creative control of the project - could not be met by the studio.
Fincher wanted Christian Bale to play the lead role. After his departure, Danny Boyle signed on to direct and Leonardo DiCaprio was approached about the title role.
Ultimately, however, DiCaprio passed on the project and
Christian Bale was offered it instead.
However, Bale also declined the role, feeling he was not right for the part after which Michael Fassbender entered to star in the film".
"Kate Winslet found out about the movie from her makeup artist while working on The Dressmaker (2015).
The makeup artist just got hired for this movie and told Winslet
Winslet said that she was intrigued by a movie written by Aaron Sorkin, directed by Danny Boyle and starring Michael Fassbender that she asked for more details about the female part. She later sent a picture of herself with a black wig and then she got the script and met with Boyle which resulted in winning the part."
And now Anomalisa, "The song Lisa sings to Michael was originally supposed to be CΓ©line Dion's "My Heart Will Go On", but was changed to Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" when the Titanic (1997) theme song could not be licensed for the movie.
Hmm.
"Michael stays at The Fregoli Hotel. The Fregoli delusion is a rare syndrome in which the patient believes that multiple people are actually the same person in disguise.
Tom Noonan voices every character in the film except David Thewlis' and Jennifer Jason Leigh's ones, similar to Charlie Kaufman's directing debut, Synecdoche, New York (2008)."
Charlie Kaufman
Oddly enough, Charlie Kaufman's birthdate is also my ex-wedding anniversary, November 19th, which would certainly explain a lot, I think;-)

Anoma-Lisa
LISA the animatronic woman?-)
Japanese animatronic woman

Anomalisa;-)
Lisa Hesselman
(Jennifer Jason Leigh)
Maybe Kaufman should have used the song Lisa Jobs comments on in the Steve Jobs movie instead of the "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" song?-)
